The Challenge.

The Valley Resort required a comprehensive, visually appealing, and high-performing WordPress website that would inform and engage users while facilitating seamless property bookings. The key challenges included developing an intuitive user journey that could accommodate multiple pages of data for future expansion. Ensuring responsive design across all devices, from desktops to mobile phones, was essential. Integrating SuperControl was necessary to pull property data and enable direct bookings. Optimising site performance for speed and reliability was a priority, along with implementing strong SEO practices to maintain online visibility.

The Solution.

GSL Media designed and developed a modern and robust WordPress website tailored to The Valley Resort’s needs. A well-structured plan was created to support multiple pages of data, allowing for future scalability. The website was designed to adapt seamlessly across all devices, ensuring a consistent user experience.

Integration with SuperControl enabled real-time property data retrieval and smooth booking functionality. SEO was embedded during the site rebuild using Yoast, ensuring that existing SEO data was retained to minimise disruptions. Full administrative access was granted to the internal team, allowing for user account management, content updates, and digital asset organisation. Security enhancements included the installation of Wordfence, reCAPTCHA implementation at login points, and an SSL certificate for data protection.

A robust search functionality was incorporated to help users easily locate posts, pages, or properties. A prominent booking path, strategically placed CTAs, and real-time pricing and availability information were implemented to drive conversions. The design followed The Valley Resort’s branding guidelines, utilising company fonts, key colours, and high-quality imagery and videos.

The newly developed website has helped to deliver The Valley customers an exceptional user experience, optimised performance, and an increase in booking conversions. Intuitive navigation and a visually appealing interface resulted in increased user engagement and longer session durations. Retention of SEO data and strategic optimisation helped maintain and even improve search engine rankings.
